The Windows installer is code-signed

Since v1.5.0 the Windows installer carries an Extended Validation code-signing certificate, so Windows no longer shows the “Windows protected your PC” SmartScreen warning. You can verify it yourself: right-click the installer → Properties → Digital Signatures.

A few things worth knowing

Scheduled posts fire when the app is running. If your machine is asleep at the scheduled time, the post fires within a minute of waking. Cloud-relay scheduling for fire-and-forget reliability is on the roadmap for a future release.
TikTok Direct Post is live — posts publish straight to TikTok from the desktop, no phone-drafts hop required. (Approved by TikTok as a verified Direct Post integration.)
Your data stays on your machine. Tokens in OS keychain, posts in your local app database, media never copied to our servers (YouTube uploads go direct to Google; other platforms transit through R2 momentarily then are auto-deleted).
