The social media scheduler for agencies that doesn't charge per client
$8 a month for all eight platforms. Five extra client workspaces for $5, ten for $10. One login, one switcher, and one AI connector that reaches every client. Ten clients: $18 a month, not $69–$480.
Why the price is different
Most social media management software for agencies prices the thing that grows with your client list: channels (Buffer, Publer), accounts (SocialPilot, Breakreach above its cap), profiles (SocialBee) or workspaces at $33 each (Planable). We price the workspace at about a dollar, because that's roughly what one costs us to run: posting isn't metered, the MCP server is a fixed cost, and platform API limits are per app, not per client. The AI is where our costs are, so the AI is where the Studio plans and top-ups are.
| Ten clients, priced 29 Oct 2026 | 3 accounts each | 8 platforms each |
|---|---|---|
| Smart Post Studio (Scheduler $8 + 10-workspace pack $10) | $18 | $18 |
| Breakreach (Agency $69, 50 accounts, then $2 each) | $69 | $129 |
| PostEverywhere (Scale $39 + accounts + workspaces) | $79 | $229 |
| SocialPilot (Standard $40 + $4 per account) | $120 | $320 |
| Later (Growth + social sets at $11.25) | $128 | $128 |
| Buffer (per channel, $5–6) | $150–180 | $400–480 |
| Publer (per account, $4–5) | $120–150 | $320–400 |
| SocialBee (agency plans) | from $179 | from $179 |
| Planable ($33 per workspace) | $330 | $330 |
Every number is from the vendor's public pricing page, read 29 October 2026; the working and links are in what 10 clients cost on a social media scheduler. Hootsuite, Vista Social and Agorapulse don't fit the job on a self-serve plan.
What you get per client
A workspace is the whole client
Its own connected accounts on all 8 platforms (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Fanvue), its own calendar, brand voice, best-time heatmap, media library and email list. Nothing crosses over between clients.
One login, one switcher
Switch clients from the workspace menu. If a client wants to keep their own login, the account switcher flips between accounts without merging anything. The Accounts page warns you if an account you connect is already in another workspace.
One AI connector for every client
Connect Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT once over MCP, ask it to list your workspaces, then "draft three posts for the bakery and schedule two for the dental practice" is a single conversation. Everything lands in the queue; nothing publishes without you.
Or let Sol plan each client's month
On the Studio plans, Sol reads a client's media library and proposes a month: platforms per post, a caption per platform in that client's voice, times from their heatmap. 300 generations a month shared across workspaces; top up $19 for 800 when a busy month needs it.
What you don't get (yet)
No team seats, no approval workflow. Every Smart Post Studio account is one user. If a client must approve before anything posts, or three people need to work in the same calendar with roles, Planable or Breakreach's Pro tier do that properly today and we don't. Team seats with roles are on the roadmap; tell us what you need at support@smartpoststudio.com and it shapes the order. Workspaces are also web-app only for now; the desktop app posts into your main workspace until release 1.8.0.
Who this fits
- Freelance social media managers with three to fifteen clients who mostly need posts to go out on time, on every platform, at a price that doesn't track the client count.
- Creator agencies running several personas: one workspace per creator, Fanvue included through Fanvue's official API, promo accounts in the same calendar.
- Multi-brand businesses: a restaurant group, a broker with agents, a studio with three product lines, where each brand needs its own voice and accounts but one person runs them.
- AI-first operators who already draft in Claude or ChatGPT and want the scheduling to happen from the same chat, for every client, without a per-message cap.
How to set it up
- Start the free trial in your browser; your first workspace is ready on sign-up.
- Pick Scheduler ($8) or a Studio plan, then open the workspace menu and click "+ New workspace". At the limit, the pack picker offers +5 ($5/mo) or +10 ($10/mo); or buy directly at buy.smartpoststudio.com. Packs are billed monthly or yearly ($50 / $100).
- Connect each client's accounts inside their workspace. Set the brand voice once per workspace so Sol and the Writing Studio write in it.
- Optional: add the MCP connector to your AI once; it sees every workspace.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a social media scheduler cost for an agency with 10 clients?
On Smart Post Studio, $18 a month: the $8 Scheduler plan plus the 10-workspace pack. The same ten clients cost $69–129 on Breakreach, $79–229 on PostEverywhere, $120–320 on SocialPilot, about $128 on Later, $150–480 on Buffer or Publer, from $179 on SocialBee and $330 on Planable (their pricing pages, 29 October 2026).
What is a workspace?
One client or brand inside your login: its own connected accounts on all 8 platforms, calendar, brand voice, heatmap, media library and email list. Every paid plan includes one; packs add 5 for $5 a month or 10 for $10 a month.
Can my AI assistant work across all my clients?
Yes. One MCP connector reaches every workspace on the account. Ask it to list workspaces, then name the client in the request. Nothing an AI creates publishes instantly; it lands in the queue for your approval.
Do you have team seats and client approvals?
Not yet. Single-user accounts, no approval workflow. Planable or Breakreach do that today; we say so rather than pretend. Team seats with roles are on the roadmap.
Does it work for Fanvue or OnlyFans creator agencies?
Fanvue, yes, through Fanvue's official API, one workspace per creator. OnlyFans has no public API, so no scheduler can post to it; we schedule the promo accounts that feed an OnlyFans page. Details on the Fanvue page.
