The AI Writing Studio writes in your language
If you create in a language other than English, every social scheduler with "AI captions" you've tried has probably let you down. The captioning is English-only. Or it offers a dropdown of "supported" languages where the output sounds robotic, oddly formal, or quietly mistranslated. The reason is usually the same: most schedulers wrap a small English-trained model behind a translation layer. The translation is the weak link. Smart Post Studio works differently.
What we ship
The AI Writing Studio inside Smart Post Studio is powered by Claude Sonnet 4.5 — a model that's natively multilingual across 50+ languages. There's no translation layer in the middle. When you write your topic in Spanish, the model thinks in Spanish and responds in Spanish. Same for French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Bengali, Persian, Tagalog, Malay, Swahili, Bulgarian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Icelandic, Catalan, Basque, Welsh, Irish, and more.
There is no setting to flip. There's no language dropdown. The AI mirrors whatever language you give it.
How it works in practice
Open the Composer. Type your topic in the language you want the caption in. The AI writes back in that language. That's the entire workflow.
Example — Spanish: Type "lanzamiento de nuestro nuevo plan de suscripción mensual" and the AI returns a caption in Spanish, with culturally appropriate phrasing, native Spanish hashtag conventions, and the right tone for the platform.
Example — Japanese: Type "新しい月額プランの紹介" and you get a Japanese caption that reads like a Japanese-speaking person wrote it. Not a translation of an English template.
Example — mixed: Need a caption in Brazilian Portuguese but want to specify it in English? Type "new monthly subscription launch — write in Brazilian Portuguese, casual tone, two emojis max". The AI follows the instruction and writes the output in Portuguese.
This means you don't need to log into a translation tool, paste, edit, copy, paste again. You write directly in your target language and the AI works in your target language.
Why most schedulers can't do this
Three reasons, none of them flattering.
1. Older or smaller models. Many schedulers use GPT-3.5-class or smaller open-source models trained primarily on English data. Those models can produce other languages, but the quality drops the further you get from English. Claude Sonnet 4.5 was trained on much more multilingual data; the quality difference is night-and-day in practice.
2. Translation layers add latency and break tone. The common shortcut is to write the caption in English, then translate it via a separate API call. You get back a Spanish caption — but it reads like translated Spanish, not native Spanish. The hashtags are wrong, the formality is wrong, the cultural references are wrong. Customers notice.
3. Charging extra for "premium languages." Several major schedulers gate non-English language support behind their highest tier. Not because it costs them more — because they can charge for it. Smart Post Studio includes multilingual AI on every plan at no extra cost.
What this unlocks for non-English creators
If your audience speaks Spanish, you write captions in Spanish, no friction. If you're posting to Brazilian Portuguese on TikTok, German on LinkedIn, and Japanese on X — you can do all three in the AI Writing Studio without leaving the app. The brand voice you set in Settings applies across languages too, because the AI understands voice instructions in any language.
For agencies managing multilingual clients, this is the difference between hiring a translator per language and using one tool. For creators in non-English markets where English-only tools have always felt like second-class citizens, this is the tool actually meeting you where you create.
